From the February issue of the Konnoak Door...

Seeing the crowds, Jesus went up on the mountain, and when he sat down his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5

If you're hoping for the greater life of the kingdom of God,
put yourself in the presence of people poor in spirit.
Sit down with those who mourn.
Surround yourself with the meek.

If you're looking for life, abundant life
share the table
with those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.

If your heart's desire is heaven on earth,
make friends with the merciful.
Pace yourself with the pure in heart.
Party with the peacemakers and the persecuted.

And if you're really ready to reap the rapture right here and now,
listen to the Anointed,
embracing those he calls blessed and beloved from above.

Do these things,
if you seek the greater life of the kingdom of God.
